.....we were on our way driving from Sydney to Alice Springs where I was exhibiting solo along with a group of the local indigenous artists in the Araluen Centre. My presence in this painting is by way of the strange parrot adapted from Sidney Nolan's parrot in his painting, "Pretty Polly Mine"
